Fascist World view
Ans . The Fascism has its origin in the post-First World-War situations in the Italy. The
Italian people had felt betrayed by the outcome of the Paris Conference, held in the
aftermath of the First World-War. The Fascism stands for dictatorship or totalitarian state. It puts more severe restrictions on individual rights and activities. It is generally guided and directed by an ideology which aim the total and drastic reorganization of the society.
The term ‘dictatorship’ is also used in the same sense. But dictatorship is generally called one-man rule. Or a head of state assumes extra-constitutional powers. As Alfred Cobban has said: “Dictatorship is the Government of one man who has not obtained his position by inheritance but by force or consent or a combination of both.” As B.B. Majmudar rightly maintains that Fascism is an totalitarian state, which claims “individuals are not an end in themselves. The state alone is an end in itself. It is in and though the state that individuals can find fullness of their life and the full freedom.” The individual is nothing but just a cell in the organism of the state. This implies that individuals are expendable for the whole state.

The Fascist state guides the society, culture, and the people. The society is organized

stands for the conscience and the universal will of man as a historic entity. It is opposed
to classical liberalism which arose as a reaction to absolutism and exhausted its
historical when the state became the expression of the conscience and will of the
Mussolini further maintains that: Liberalism denied the state in the name if the individuals: Fascism reasserts the rights of the state as expressing the real essence of the individuals. And if liberty is to be the attribute of living men and not of abstract dummies invented by the individualistic liberalism, then Fascism stands for liberty, and for the only liberty worth having, the liberty of the state and of the individuals within the state.
The Fascist state guides the society, culture and the people. The society is organized in a strict hierarchical order wherein the leader or party is at the top. Strong emphasis is placed on command, obedience, order and loyalties.
A Fascist Government controls and guides almost all walks and spheres of human
activities–social, cultural, economic etc. All organizations in the society are made
subordinate to the Government. A cultural or secret police keeps an eye on the activities of citizens. It uses both physical (force, imprisonment, torture, death sentence) and
psychological methods (propaganda, deception etc.) to place society under its total control.
